Five Twentieth Century Artists: Baskett & Day's Gallery, London.

13 - 31 July 1971

The five artist shown in this exhibition lived in an age which, with its endless searching for new forms of expression, is regarded by any as the close of an artistic tradition lasting for centuries.

Houthuesen, Piscasso, Rouault, Schiele and Tchelitchew belong to no school. They are masters of line and colour, but it is the individual character of each man which marks the work as his own.
